Welcome
My caravan is situated on a small private site ideally placed with outstanding views over Portland Harbor and only a short walk away from Weymouth and the Brewers Quay attraction beside the old harbor.
Below the site there is a safe, sandy beach, accessed by steps from the footpath off Old Castle Road. then 'In the opposite direction the road runs past the gardens, with the Sandsfoot Castle ruins and views across Portland harbour. The road goes down to Castle Cove Sailing Club and another small safe private beach. The Rodwell trail is a lovely walk which leads to the Portland road and Chesil Bank.
The cliff top walk into Weymouth leads over a headland with excellent views of Weymouth and the bay. There is a short path down to the harbor side, town and shops or a longer walk along the seafront path leading to the Nothe Fort .
Although there are no facilities on the site there is a useful parade of shops nearby. Further information will be waiting for you in the caravan which has 2 bedrooms (one double and one with twin beds) and further sleeping facilities in the large lounge. Duvets, pillows and blankets etc are supplied, and bed linen can be supplied for a small charge. Kitchen towels/tea towels are also supplied, but you will need to bring your personal towels.
There is a toilet and shower room. The kitchen has a gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster, and is of course fully equipped with crockery, glasses, cutlery, cooking pans and utensils etc. All gas and electric is included. There is also a hairdryer and iron provided.
There is a TV with DVD and radio with CD player for your enjoyment.
